Katharina Klug
Katharina Klug trained professionally at college in Austria and Germany for six years before setting up her business in Cambridge in 2011.
Inspired by the elemental colour and shape of ancient Korean pottery, each piece is individually made from porcelain on the potter’s wheel.
The Narrative of Katharina’s work comes from little snippets of observation in her environment, stripes on cloth, wires, cables, plants and grasses, architecture and streets just to name a few.
In 2014 Katharina was chosen to participate in the Crafts Councils Hot House program. Since then she has become a selected member of the Craft Potters Association.
