Cornelius van Dop will be at hand to answer questions about his Metal box making and jewellery. Cornelius’s work is influenced by life’s experiences and the surrounding countryside and is influenced by Japanese metal work.
Melvyn Evans who has developed a signature style of strong, bold imagery, with inspiration coming from artists such as Edward Bawden, Eric Ravilious, Henry Moore and the St Ives School will be here to discuss his work.
Robyn Hardyman will be talking about how she throws her porcelain vessels on the wheel in her garden studio in Oxford. She enjoys the way pots look when grouped together, the shapes and shadows between the forms, and the relationship between their colours and textures.Robyn enjoys how a good pot feels when weighed in the hand, that sense of balance that tells you when it’s right.
